Ticketmaster Just Made a Significant Move Toward NFT Tickets

Flow recently announced an innovative new partnership with Ticketmaster - American ticket sales and distribution company. All Ticketmaster event organizers can now link NFTs to each attendee's ticket using the Flow blockchain.

The NFTs are positioned to provide richer experiences to event ticket holders. The linked NFTs primarily hope to provide Ticketmaster eventgoers with Web3 analogs to the IRL events where they will receive the NFTs.

According to Flow, recipients of linked NFTs may gain access to "VIP experiences." Otherwise, the NFTs can simply be used as event mementos on the blockchain. The event organizer is in charge of carrying out each NFT ticket tie-in.
